"Nitaanzia Wapi" Alphonse Makokha Reveals What He'll Miss Most Same Day He Buries Wife

Today, the heart of veteran actor Alphonse Makokha Makacha weighs heavy with sorrow as he bids farewell to his beloved wife, Purity Wambui. Purity passed away on June 2nd after bravely battling stage four cancer, a fight she endured for many years.

In a touching tribute during her burial at Langata Cemetery in Nairobi, Alphonse Makokha expressed his deep love and profound sadness. With tears in his eyes, he shared how much he will miss his wife, fondly calling her "dem yangu" (my girlfriend).

He reminisced about their moments together and the laughter they shared, especially the funny stories he would tell her."Nitakumiss sana dem yangu," he said, struggling to find words to capture the depth of his loss.

"Sijui nitakuwa napiga story na nani, ni kunoma." ("I will miss you, my girlfriend. I don't know whom I will be telling stories to. It is tough.")

Alphonse Makokha also spoke about the last moments with Purity, recalling how he received the devastating news while on his way to work.

Despite the financial strains and the emotional toll of her illness, he remained steadfast by her side, spending over KSh 3 million on her treatment over the years.

Their journey together was not just about the challenges but also about the lessons learned and the love shared.

He reflected on the strength she showed throughout her illness and pledged to continue caring for their children as she would have wanted.

As Alphonse Makokha stood before friends, family, and well-wishers, his grief was palpable but so was his gratitude for the support he received.

He thanked his friends for delivering the news of her passing with grace, acknowledging the wound her loss has left in his heart.

Today, as he lays his beloved wife to rest, Alphonse Makokha Makacha not only mourns the woman he loved deeply but also celebrates the life they built together.
