Laughter And Happiness As Ena Coach Makes History With First Female Driver, Beatrice, Reveals Maiden Routes

Beatrice, an accomplished driver with a passion for her work, is set to break new ground. Her first trip will be from Nairobi to Kisii, marking a momentous occasion for the company and the industry.

Beatrice's inaugural journey on June 12, 2024, will take her along a 300-kilometer route, spanning about six hours. She will be driving a 14-seater matatu, a common mode of transport in Kenya.

This journey from Nairobi to Kisii usually takes passengers through Mai Mahiu and Narok, or alternatively, via Mau-Summit and Kericho.

The scenic route is not only a test of skill but also a demonstration of Ena Coach's commitment to providing reliable and diverse service.

Ena Coach, a well-known player in Kenya’s transport sector, has expressed great pride in welcoming Beatrice to their team. In a recent statement, the company highlighted Beatrice's exceptional driving skills and her enthusiasm for her new role.

They see her as a beacon of inspiration, not just for other women but for everyone in the industry. Her hiring is seen as a commitment to embracing diversity and excellence within the company.

The announcement by Ena Coach was accompanied by warm wishes from colleagues and the community. Many believe that Beatrice’s appointment will pave the way for more women to enter the traditionally male-dominated field of long-distance bus driving.

Ena Coach hopes that Beatrice’s success will encourage other women to pursue careers in transport, breaking stereotypes and opening doors for the next generation.

Transport and logistics have often been viewed as male-dominated fields, but companies like Ena Coach are challenging these norms by actively promoting female participation.

Beatrice’s journey to becoming a long-distance driver has not been easy. Her skills have been honed over years of experience, demonstrating her determination and capability.

She stands as a role model for aspiring female drivers, showing that with dedication and passion, barriers can be broken.
