RIP; Family Mourns Nandi ACK Priest Allegedly Murdered After Being Caught Chewing KDF Officer's Wife In Bed

Rev James Kemei, 43, had visited the woman, a lay reader at St Barnabas church in Kapsabet, for the night unaware that the husband had set a trap for him.

Forty-three-year-old James Kemei was allegedly killed on Thursday, June 20, by the soldier after being found in his house with his spouse in the odd hours of the day. DMI2BkulqKQ

The military officer arrived in his matrimonial home that night. He sneaked into the house at Cheplengu village next to Mother Fransca hospital and hid himself in one of the rooms without the knowledge of his wife and her secret lover. He had been alerted that the priest was spending nights at his home.

Since his death, the man of God's inconsolable friends and family have been eulogising him in moving posts and speaking of the different ways he touched their lives.

The officer waited stealthily for the two to go to bed. He then emerged from hiding and set upon them, clobbering the priest and immobilising him.The enraged officer then turned to his wife, fracturing his hand, and then hammered nails into the spine of the clergyman.

The faithful of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) were shocked to learn of the incident after the military officer, who had laid a trap, stormed in on the two during the act in his house.

Neighbours told the Star that the officer placed the wife in a corner of the bedroom as he butchered her lover by cutting off his genitals as she watched. An anonymous caller informed police of the violence at around 3am on Thursday morning, Nandi police commander Dickens Njogu said.

Following the June 20th incident, locals are still in disbelief after a member of the clergy, identified as Rev. James Kemei, was killed in the house of a female church member, reported to be a lay reader at the same church station.
