In a heartfelt message shared through her assistants, Nyamu expressed her empathy for Rex’s mother. She said, "As a mother, I felt emotional and touched by the pain of Rex's mum, and as a youth president, I must stand in solidarity with a mother."

Nyamu's actions show her respect for the family’s situation and her willingness to help, despite the political complications. She reassured Rex’s mother that she plans to visit after the burial when the tensions have eased.

She also encouraged Rex's mother to lean on faith during this difficult time, saying, "I know it is not easy, but we leave everything to God."The support from Nyamu is one of many instances of solidarity shown to Rex’s family.
