Pastor Commits Suicide By Hanging Himself Inside His House At Milimani Estate, Nakuru

A 35-year-old man has been found deceased by apparent suicide in Milimani estate, Nakuru County.

Similarly, another distressing incident unfolded as a pastor from the Seventh Day Adventist Church took his own life inside his residence in Kyethivo.

The community was shaken when the lifeless body was discovered hanging from the roof on a somber Friday morning.

The discovery was made by the deceased's wife upon her return from the garden, where she had been tending to the plants.

With the help of concerned neighbors, they entered the house to find the distressing scene and promptly alerted the authorities.

Confirming the incidents, Nakuru County OCS George Ouma expressed his condolences and assured that the bodies had been respectfully transferred to Nakuru Level 5 Hospital's mortuary for further procedures.

Ouma disclosed that despite thorough search, no suicide notes were found to shed light on the motivations behind these tragic acts.

The only possessions recovered from the deceased's pocket were an identification card and a sim card, offering little insight into their state of mind prior to the events.

The deceased, a former primary school teacher who retired recently, had transitioned into a pastoral role at the Good Chapel Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nakuru County.

In an effort to understand the circumstances leading to these untimely deaths, the police have initiated investigations.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death, providing some closure to the grieving families and community members.

Ouma stressed the importance of mental health awareness and encouraged individuals facing difficulties to reach out for support.

He emphasized the significance of open communication and urged the public to share their burdens rather than suffer in silence.
